Does exactly what it needs to do! Could do with a bit more foam inside though

Fits perfectly for the MODX6, has a lovely soft handle on it, and overs good protection. However I wish there was some sort of foam lining all the way through. It has enough foam to keep the MODX in place and to protect it, but then there are large sections (which don't touch the keyboard in fairness) that have no foam at all. I ended up just putting some in myself, but it would be nice to have for some extra peace of mind.

I also wish that there were flip handles on the sides, it would just make it easier for getting out of a van when it's packed in tight with other stuff, being able to grab a side handle and slide it towards you.

Other than that? Fantastic value, and I'm confident it'll keep my MODX pristine for years to come.

I've been using Thon flight cases for nearly 20 years and continue to be very satisfied with their quality, price and durability.
My new MODX6 fits into this case well - as you'd expect it to - with no movement when you shake the case.
Highly recommend these flight cases.

I recently bought a Yamaha MODX6 and wanted to protect my investment.

I've looked around, done my homework, and found that these are as good as any others when it comes to build quality. However, they are a good price by some margin.

My only criticism is that there should have been an ABS option (not just wood). I'd have happily paid a little bit more for the ABS!
