Amalio Burguet La Burguet Spruce w/ Case

This guitar is to take over from my Burguet model 1A which is now 19 years old. It is for home use and is purely for me to enjoy while my fingers still work.
The guitar itself is aesthetically stunning in appearance, yet not over-elaborate. The Madagascan rosewood is darker and has a more varied pattern than Indian rosewood.
The trebles are clear with a long and rich sustain and the base is bright with depth.
The sound will develop with play. I find it very easy to play.
The Burguet case is stunning too.

Die La Burguet Spruce ist das beste Instrument, das ich je unter den Fingern hatte. Sie spielt laut oder leise gleichermaßen kristallklar und immer singend, selbst in hohen Lagen. Der Bass ist ein kleines Wunder, stark und präsent, aber nie aufdringlich. Saitenlage und "Griffigkeit" reduzieren den Kraftaufwand bei Barrégriffen erheblich, ohne dass auch nur das geringste Klirren aufträte. Ich weiß leider nicht, mit welchen Saiten sie bezogen ist, aber die drauf sind, passen gut. Mit den Saiten werde ich im Laufe der Zeit sicher noch ein bisschen experimentieren. Die Verarbeitung ist makellos.

La chitarra è arrivata da poco più di ventiquattro ore, quindi la mia valutazione non potrà essere molto approfondita. Lo strumento è esteticamente molto bello: il palissandro del madagascar con cui sono fabbricati il fondo e le fasce è cromaticamente meno compatto, quanto alle venature, del palissandro indiano, ed è ricco di venature chiare. Il piano armonico è di abete, che il costruttore ha volutamente lasciato nella sua colorazione naturale, che è molto chiara. L'effetto complessivo è davvero splendido. Lo strumento ha un suono molto equilibrato nei tre registri, ricco di armonici ed estremamente durevole. Il suono della chitarra, ovviamente, deve ancora aprirsi, ma ne prevedo la naturale evoluzione: aumenterà in potenza, effetto della stagionatura dell'abete con cui è realizzato il piano armonico, senza perdere il suo equilibrio, dovuto al palissandro africano, che, al contrario dell'abete europeo, è già "pronto". Monta una muta di corde Savarez, che io avrei individuato in una delle due varianti al carbonio (Corum/Alliance o Alliance) di tensione forte. Un'ultima parola sulla paletta, che il costruttore valenciano (come pure l'altro liutaio valenciano, Juan Hernandez) ha voluto più angolata dei "cugini" madrileni (Ramirez e Bernabé) e che monta delle meccaniche eccellenti.
