I bought this pickup for my MIJ Fender Stratocaster as a bridge PU because I needed a humbucker for metal lead and rhythm tones.

Doesn't really have the same output level as a full-sized humbucker would have so for metal tones I'm using an equalizer pedal to give it a little boost and it does work well with that. Also delivers nice overdriven rock tones.

Der PU wurde von mir in eine Starfield Gitarre eingebaut und sollte den typischen Strat-Tonabnehmer in der Stegposition ersetzen. Der Sound unerscheidet sich im Vergleich mit einem konventionellen Superdistortion: Bei vermutlich identischem Output wirkt er etwas dünner. Trotzdem leistet er gute Arbeit und produziert ein richtiges Brett (Mesa High Gain). Auch unverzerrt klingt er voll und schön, also ausgewogen und nicht zu grell! Einzig Solospiel in den obersten Lagen hört sich nicht so toll an, da der PU durch seine schräge Position sehr nah am Steg ist.
Die dünnen Anschlusskabel sind eine Herausforderung für meine geringen Lötkenntnisse.
