Good extension from your truss system
This Boom Arm delivers a sturdy point to hang quite heave gear from. I have a 10 kg Hazer hanging in one of my three boom arms. It has both a heavy duty M12 bolt and a wing nut, so you can tighten the coupling to the truss quite hard, but even if you don´t do that (say it´s not a fixed installation), you can easily feel safe to tighten it by hand, using the force on the wing nut. The build gives a solid impression, as all of my other Doughty gear. Remember to mount it on a vertical pole/truss pipe, as it is the only approved installation according to Doughty. Highly recommended.
