It does the job

It's cheap and it works, there's no similar product on the market AFAIK, so big kudos to Meinl, but...

1. I had to use pliers so I could really fasten the adapter on my cymbal stand, otherwise it'd get loose pretty quickly...
2. All of the 3 "felts" needed to be replaced asap, because what you get is the cheapest possible plastic foams which are pretty stiff. Don't know why normal hihat felts weren't included instead of these...
3. I had to use extra cymbal sleeve for bottom cymbal otherwise it'd grind against the metal rod which I'm not really fond of

So yeah, the product is satisfactory if you put some work in it and I still recommend it because all of the other hihat or stack attachments on the market are just too expensive

Clever idea. Great for the price but with a lot of room for improvement.

The concept of this product is amazing and unique. I don’t know of anything similar but it could have some upgrades. Felts and a sleeve for the bottom hat for example. Otherwise great idea.

Does what it promisses but I only use it as a last resort. The screws are plastic, the felts are a kind of a rubber instead of normal felt. The cymbals wobble around because the shaft is too thin the cymbals' holes.
