Plugging it into the amplifier the sound gets warmer and deeper again which is the typical characteristic of a Hofner Beatles Bass, but this time with some more aggression. Compared to the Flatwound set of Pyramid the tone lasts much longer and has greater sustain and is much more than a simple "Plop" and makes it not that vintage but different with a bit modern touch.
