This big bottle has a fragile plastic base, be careful if you want to take them out of the amp. If the tube socket is tight you have to gently pull the tube out. It?s a good to idea to grab the tube from the plastic base not the glass, although it?s a bit difficult as the base is small.

I bought this for my VHT special 6 ultra that I did the bias mod for. This tube drops straight in and sounds brilliant. Typical warmth and plenty of headroom. It's quiet and on examination looks to be very well made.

Die Sovtek kommen bei mir in meinem Petersburg P-100 in der Endstufe zum Einsatz. Laut Hersteller Ralf Reichen, sind das zwar nicht die Original Endstufenröhren, aber klingen ebenfalls sehr gut mit dem Amp.

Wer den Amp kennt weis wie laut der ist. Mit den Tube 5881 ist er sogar noch einwenig lauter geworden, mit gleichbleibenden Klang.
