I have used Versum for several years and always love the sound and quality, that why when I saw the price of it in Thomann, i immediately ordered. But the string seems a little ‘old’ and ‘out of the date’ it sounds very noisy and I have to take extra effort to contain it. I don’t think it’s the string itself but might just been sit on the Shelf for too long. Might try to give a 2nd chance soon but this patch was a little disappointing.

Die Saite ist auf diesem ohnehin stark bass-lastigen Instrument und nicht primär solistisch genutzten Instrument aufgrund der gewünschten und erzielten Ausgeglichenheit über alle Register gleichwohl erste Wahl für mich.
