Excellent value!
I had high hopes for this guitar and it really delivered. Really good fretwork which only needed a little polishing - no uneven frets or sharp fret edges. The bone nut was almost perfectly cut and had comfortable, rounded edges. The saddle was perhaps a little rough feeling but the compensation was correct and the height was good - with room to lower the action if one would want.
With a neck relief of about 0.010 inches and an action at the 12th fret at about 3/32" (E) and 5/64 (e) the playability was really nice.
Soundwise it's a little early to tell, since it will develop/mature in the coming months but, out of the box, it has a nice, earthy tone without sharp trebles (which I'm a little sensitive to).
The tuners feels surprisingly solid and turns smoothly. I was thinking of replacing them at first sight but, at present, time I feel no need to.
This guitar stands up nicely to other acoustics I have owned over the years (Yamaha FG800, Yamaha LL16M, Taylor 114e, Eastman E1D). Apart from maybe a little crude/rough edges at the end of the fretboard and bridge pins that sits too low (and therefor are almost impossible to remove when changing strings), this guitar competes way above it's pricerange, I think.
If it will hold up and stay structurally intact over the years to come - I will consider this to be the best guitar buy I have made, yet.
