Yamaha TRS-MS05 Cable Kit

I cannot fault the speakers when it comes to the sound, but I don't like the Heath Robinson loom supplied, it limits where the boom box can be situated. The loom has two jack plugs and two RCA phono plugs on one end and an RCA phono plug and an eight pin din plug on the other. It is made to fit the 76 key Tyros and is over long for the 61 key version, so it hangs untidy like something produced by a spider on speed. The volume control and On/Off button are at the rear of the boom box and the bass control knob is on the front, there is no power on indicator light or line out. The mains lead is hard wired and this also limits where the box can be situated. The fitting of an electric kettle type three pin socket as fitted to the Tyros would have at least allowed the selection of a mains lead of suitable length to fit the situation. I feel Yamaha could have done a much better job of this unit. The whole thing shouts of cheap construction, and if the loom breaks, expect to pay a hefty price for a replacement.

Dieses Kabel erlaubt es mir, die Lautsprecher vom Tyros 3 nun auch an andere Audioquellen anzuschließen. Das wird möglich, da dieses Kabel zwei Klinkenkabel als Input nimmt, statt eines Yamaha-eigenen Steckers.

Nachteilig ist aber eindeutig der Preis für die gebotene Verarbeitung. Das Kabel fällt zwar nicht besonders negativ auf, aber besonders der Teil der Kabels an dem Cinchstecker sind, ist sehr dünn. Der Teil, der zu den Klinkensteckern führt, fällt hier ebenfalls negativ auf. Da bin ich von weit billigeren Kabeln eine weitaus bessere Qualität gewohnt.

Insgesamt erfüllt es aber seinen Zweck, wie ich es mir gewünscht habe und ich würde es wieder kaufen.
