String Swing CC01K Guitar Wall Hanger ASH

This size string swing have fit every type of guitar i have hung up. Even a classical guitar with a really wide neck can twist into this.

I dont think you need to bother with the hercules tyope design where it "locks" on the wall. You wont knock this down accidently.

I havent even used proper drywall anchers and all 11 times i have installed this there have been no issues regarding strengh.

I got several of those as I thought, it's the best wall hanger. Made in US, highly reputable, etc.

When I took the first out of the box, I was surprised, the hanging surface was covered in sticky plastic that peels off. I rub my finger and it's now covered in plastic that seems to be cleanable, but nevertheless. I didn't try this hanger my instruments with beautiful unfinished necks and decided to try a laquer-finished neck first. Yeah, it hangs, but when I take the guitar off, I need to clean it, as it takes the dissolving plastic from the hanger.

I decided not to risk my instruments and didn't install those hangers.

Another thing a buyer needs to be aware of that the hook is really narrow, so you need to be very careful while hanging an instrument. When I'm dropping the instrument without looking much (like I do on Gator or K&M), this doesn't work and I hit the hook with the neck, as the hook is much narrower. It's barely enough to tightly fit my 6-string guitar with a 43mm nut, a wider neck on an extended range bass might be a total no-go.
