Fine but generic and with a couple of issues
Anders Madsen 16.05.2021
I mostly use the room reverb on it and that's overall fine. The spring reverb isn't very springy—it hardly has any drip and it's far too short and subtle for stuff like surf guitar, but it's fine as a regular, less in-your-face reverb. I actually haven't used the hall reverb enough that I can really say anything about that.

The pedal does have its issues though. When the Reverb knob is at more than 50% (or 12 o'clock) the dry signal starts to drop significantly. On the other hand, when the Reverb knob is lower than 50% there's a marked boost in the dry signal. It's something that you can mostly work your way around but it is kind of annoying.

Great simple reverb
Andrew822 23.01.2022
I have 2 amps a blues junior and a solid state copy of one by Session, both good amps both have same reverb tank which is fine except the reverbs tail is a bit too long for my liking. I only use reverb as an always on effect and the TREX is perfect for this. It allows me to have an amp style reverb but able to control the decay and tone. The reverb knob mixes the effect with you guitar tone so beware that if you turn the knob above 11 or 12 you will start to drop a bit of volume as more reverb takes over the tone. You can compensate this with a clean boost pedal. There are 3 types of reverb Room, Spring and Hall. My favourite is the Spring as it has that bit of splash you want on a single coil guitar and its better than the amps built in verbs. The Room is very usable as well and especially when you want just a bit of the effect. The Hall is ok but dont expect Ambient shoe gazing sounds to come from it or neither do it do the drip you would want for surf music but it does get you in the ball park for that twang with the spring setting. Like I said I bought it to use instead of my amps built in ones. So over all I am happy with it another bonus is its small size but not so small that it tips over when you stomp it. The switch feels nice and there is no audible click in your speaker when turned on I think because it has a buffer in in I'm not sure. If it does have a buffer it does not effect the tone to me Its my first Trex pedal and I will get more based on the quality of this one.

OC
strange name for a great pedal
Oxo Cube 29.03.2020
All in all super, does what it says on the tin.

I decided to purchase this pedal following the purchase of another T-Rex pedal, the diva drive, and after a great experience with that, I decided to give this one a try. I'd been looking for a reverb pedal with spring, but versatile enough to use as a good all rounder at the end of a chain of 4/5 pedals, as I don't care for too many on the board (for now, at least!) So it's the first reverb pedal I've been playing consistently with.

It performs great, well built of course - really brightened up everything on the chain in a very nice way and adding plenty of room and - can you call it(?) - 'cream' to the sound, playing hard rock but also great for surf sounds and more bluesy cleans. It really wins on the clean tones and if you're amp reverb just isn't going to cut it or you want some extra versatility of this crucial musical ingredient at your feet.

There are of course some reverb pedals out there with more features but if you're looking for something very straightforward and easy to use - it does what it does it does very well and gives you a very good range from very subtle to cavernous reverbs when the decay and the reverb knobs are up high. Most of the time though, I find it's better bringing it in on softer settings, particularly if you like playing with buckets of gain.

The best thing I really do rate about the T-Rex pedals is the Tone knob, so you can mix the amount you need in with your clean existing analogue signal. This is must as it really keeps it subtle and it doesn't have in any way a digital feel to it when you engage it, in my view. That is the feature that I like the most about this pedal.

All said - I'm very pleased with it - would recommend - bravo!

J
okayish pedal for the price
Justin-Jay 14.09.2020
I think it's reasonably best choice for the 80 quid. There's TC Sky twice as cheap but you will get twice as short the reverb. I guess, the more you pay the more reverb you get 😄
Pros:
- nice warm room reverb. Usually I'm not a fan of room reverbs but this one is quite enjoyable and IMHO the best of three
- analog bypass. you get dry signal + reverb, not your signal mixed together with reverb.
- springy spring reverb. other reverbs does not have that distinct spring sound. I know it's a gimmick but still nice.

Cons:
- somehow there's a signal amplifier so your signal sounds louder just going through that box, even in bypass mode
