The kit wasn't 'Pure Vintage 50's' but 'American Vintage 50's'. The product number was still the same. The tremolo arm knob didn't fit to the mexican Classic 50's Strat's vintage tremolo arm; the tremolo arm was too thick. The font of the knobs was a bit too small to be 'pure vintage' and the switch tip didn't fit either without a touch of a file. The eggshell color is better and more correct to the 50's Strat than the aged white which came with the guitar.

The classic SRV look!

I added this kit to my 3 colour sunburst strat, along with a 3 ply black/white/black pickguard for teh classic SRV strat look and it came out great.

The kit was really easy to fit and all of the parts fitted really well (well machined). Couldn't be happier with it :)

Honestly, most any plastic parts will do. However, this one has the proper original proportions and the smaller lettering that you will not find on most others.

nothing wrong with this set,fits perfectly on custom shop fat 50s, color is a bit greyish than parchment.
