Didn't fit

Didn't fit in 10-32 hole. Only went in about 2 threads and I can't even force it in. Am I missing something, is there something else to the standard? I bought a set of another 10-32 and 10-24 screws elsewhere and the new 10-32 screws went in just fine, but still I couldn't fit the Thomann ones in?

Couple of points you should know about these rack screws
1. they do the job they are intended for
2. the quality is good
Unlike some rack screws the head does not wear easily.
