A good simple item

Bought this to cover the endpin on a cello, obviously. Mainly it is used to protect the surroundings when carrying the instrument. To clarify, I have a padded gig bag instead of a hard case, and the endpin sticks out a bit.
The cap fits nicely and for the price it is simply a great piece. Evidently doesn't fall off or break too easily. Easy to remove and put back on.

I wouldn't exactly call it a "floor protector" since the cap is too small and stiff to hold the cello in place when playing, at least on a wooden floor.

For simply covering the sharp endpin, there's really nothing to blame or praise this item for. Good enough quality to resist cold, occasional bumps and other hazards when lugging the instrument around.

For similar purposes I could recommend this item.

Melko hyvä. Saattaa irrota, jos sellon piikki on sopivassa kulmassa lattiaan nähden.

Smaller than expected, but expands to fit on spike

I have a fairly old cello (in a cheap rather than antique way) with a solid steel endpin.

I am not sure if there is any industry standard in cello spike tip sizes, but when I saw the size of this stopper I thought that it wouldn't fit on the tip of my cello spike.

As it was under one Euro, I thought I would try and jam it on anyway because I wasn't going to return it. To my surprise it expanded and fit on... albeit tightly and somewhat awkwardly.

It grips carpet, but I think it would be better for a hard floor where the tip was a bit bendy allowing it to be anchored a bit better.

Every cellist should have one. It is only 79 cents or something, why not?

Easy to use but not really useful

I bought the Gewa Floor Protection for Cello for my ex girlfriend's cello. It is really easy to use: Just pull it on an go. OK, the floor will be protected but her cello continued to slip away, which was the reason why we bought it.
Buy it to protect your floor, not to stop you cello from slipping away.
