Beautiful, but not an upgrade

Bought this bridge for it's beautiful vintage relic look. Was hoping the quality will be the same or even better than my stock Fender bridge but I was very disappointed as I'm used to see quality products from Gotoh.

The mounting was extremely easy, but I had problem with intonating strings as saddles in these bridges tend to stuck and wiggle around. Saddle screws were extremely loose from the start and as I play with low action I was afraid they would fall off at some point and they did, within first few hours.
Definitely would not recommend to someone that is not ready to deal with these problems or would want an upgrade from stock bridge. It is a beautiful bridge but not as quality as expected and definitely not worth the price.

If you do decide to buy this bridge, I definitely recommend putting tape around saddle screws or transparent nail polish so it doesn't fall off.

Gutes Upgrade

Mit Gotoh-Produkten bin ich allgemein sehr zufrieden.
Diese Bassbrücke ist keine Ausnahme.
Habe sie in meinen Squier CV Jazz Bass made in China einbauen lassen. Bohrlöcher mussten zwar versetzt werden, das ist aber kein Problem.
Hatte bereits gute Erfahrungen mit Bridge-Upgrades im Hinblick auf den Sound gemacht. Auch hier bilde ich mir ein, dass der Sound sustain- und obertonreicher geworden ist.
Optisch gefällt mit die Bridge zudem sehr gut.

Fazit:
Hochwertiges Ersatz- oder Upgrade-Teil, das den Preis wert ist.
