The Jackson JS32 is a good for it's price. I bought it for just playing around at home for my own pleasure and my neighbors pain.

It has a good sound, good looks and is comfortable to play.

The guitar is pretty light so it's comfortable to handle and play on the knee or standing up with a strap. The neck is also pretty flat making it a bit easier to play for a short fingered guy like me.

The natural oiled wood looks good but is a bit darker than what you'd expect from the pictures. There were also a couple of spots (near the outlet jack) where the the oil treatment probably went a bit wrong so there's a discolored spot there. Not really noticeable from the front though.

When I first got the guitar was some issues with fret buzz out of the box that required some truss rod adjustment. This wasn't hard but can be scary for someone who hasn't done it before.

The pickups seem fine to me. They sound nice and I really like how they sound with some distortion. I've been mostly playing metal stuff with it which it fits well but I can't complain about the clear tone either.

Good value for its price

First of all, flawless delivery by Thomann. Guitar was already set up properly, super clean and packaging was quite safe. Great service, Thank you.

Not an expert on guitars, but comparing to various mid-range guitars I played over the years, this guitar is very comfortable to play. The neck is super thin and fast, and the body is well balanced. Tuning stability is also much better than expected, although the whammy bar that comes with it is poor quality at best, which can be upgraded. Overall though, the guitar feels well-made & it's worth more than its current price. I can safely recommend this for a beginner or as a practice guitar to have around for more experienced players. Thanks again Thomann!
