They are very low and take small footprint. Good for dolly work. Quite sturdy and professional feeling. Sandbags do help.

This is perfect for heavy yet low lighting. I use two of these to support my Aputure 1200D with Spotlight mount as a twin set up from waist height. This gives me absolute security with quite an ambitious set up in small space. It can also support some serious weight as a stand alone!
