A bit disappointing, still

Here's the bottom line: You have an expensive piece of gear like the Neural Quad Cortex (great utility BTW) and to power it, you only get a relatively flimsy power supply that could either break in transport or mid-gig. First I thought I got the wrong shipment. Then I ordered another power supply, only to realize it's still the same flimsy part.

The power supply has multiple sockets for use in different regions - good idea for home use, but not on stage this is a bad idea. Even if you run an extension cord to your pedal board, there is always a risk for the power supply to snap.

I will continue to use it, despite everything, having a backup is mandatory at this point, I guess and will for more rugged options in the meantime. The power supply shall not stop me from making good use of the QC in the future :-)

This has a high current rating of 3A and so is perfect to power my Quad Cortex.

Buying a second PSU enables me to use my Quad Cortex on my desk whilst having the other one permanently installed on my pedalboard.

At this price it doesn't break the bank. Fast delivery too!

Habe dieses Originalnetzteil fuer das Quad Cortex nachgekauft nachdem das alte Netzteil urplötzlich während eines Liveacts seinen Geist aufgegeben hat. Daher ist mein Vertrauen in das Netzteil nicht sehr hoch, sodass ich gleich 2 Stück als Sicherheit gekauft habe. Moeglicherweise ist das Netzteil selbst ok, aber für den Quad Cortex eventuell unterdimensioniert.
Das neue Netzteil hat bis jetzt funktioniert (nach Dauerbetrieb von 7 Stunden)
