this neutrik xcd coloured ring is a handy piece of equipment to own. the brown colour is good to help identify cables and can save time when searching through cable box. also seems to fit the newer xor plugs so great product.

No need to unsolder

Can be fitted without unsoldering the connector, just unscrew the plug or socket and slide over the plug shell, then screw it back together. Note on some non genuine plugs you might find they do not screw fully home with the rings fitted.

Most elegant coding method

We use a lot of multicores and I'm sick of taping the connectors and writing with a marker the number of the cable, thus leaving the connector all glued up because the paper glued tape does not hold forever.
They could make this product better if Neutrik would write numbers on them.
