I bought this for my Selmer Mark VI soprano saxophone, with no detachable neck, and I was afraid it wouldn't fit or the instrument would end up not being tightly straped, but it isn't the case. Not only it fits as it's a good fit.
A fuuny aspect is that you do not use velcro straps to bound the instrument, but instead you have some moving cushions and some sort of a hard strap you can bend to the desired form and use it to accomodate the instrument. I've never seen this before, but it works perfectly.
A small compartment on the inside for your mouthpiece and reeds, and a larger on the outside for everything else you need. Shoulder strap, zippers, etc, seem very robust, and the case itself seems to be able to support some serious damage before getting to your instrument.
Overall, very confortable and very solid.

Although not designed for the instrument I bought this case for my EWI. Perfect fit; keeps the instrument safe in transit.
These case are robust without being too heavy; they have lots of storage space.
Ideal if you have the Akai 14000S EWI.

Ideal fürs EWI5000 und Sopransax

Da ich für das Also EWI5000 nur den Pappkarton hatte, benötigte ich dafür eine vernünftige Transporttasche. Das Instrument ist aber länger als ein Sopransaxophon, so dass nur diese in Frage kam. Die Tasche ist stabil und bietet versetzbare Polster sowie einen Schutz gegen Verrutschen. Innen ist ein Fach für Zubehör. In der Aussentasche ist viel Platz, dort habe ich den Empfänger und eine kleinen Verstärker unterbringen können. Die Reissverschlüsse sind stabil und der vom Hauptabteil bietet die Möglichkeit zum Anschließen. Inzwischen war ich mehrfach unterwegs mit dem Koffer und der Stoff zeigt keine Beschädigungen.

Inzwischen habe ich mir für das Sopransaxophon einen zweiten Koffergekauft, das Instrument ist damit besser geschützt als mit dem ursprünglich mitgelieferten, in dem es etw!nicht ausreichend fixiert lag.

Update: nach eineinhalb Jahren Benutzung möchte ich darauf hinweisen, dass man den Koffer in keinem Fall versuchen sollte zu schließen, wenn seitlich etwas heraus ragt. Schließt man dann den Reißverschluss reißen die Schrauben aus der Verstärkung und man kann sie nur noch einkleben. Da dies wohl einer Fehlbedienung zuzugzurechnen ist, bin ich weiterhin voll zufrieden.
