If you need something for a smaller, longer type of mic, such as a short shotgun mic, this Rycote works perfectly.

Very happy with this one and will get another Rycote if needed.

I was looking for a non-bulky alternative, sturdier, better looking and better performant than most of the white branded alternatives out there.

I was a bit skeptical of the price... unsure if it was worth it.
The answer is, yes it is! As soon as I can, I'll be replacing all my small condenser diaphragm microphone cradles with this.

Great shock mount. No doubt. It has cool flexible rubber clips that hold the microphone with maternal care.
