Must have -mikki
Kuuluu jokaisen studion varustukseen.

Does exactly what you'd expect.
Shure sm7b has become almost the standard microphone for heavy vocals. I bought this for that exact reason and damn am I happy with the results. It's dark and clean sounding and barely picks up any excess noise from the room. Definitely recommend this microphone for recording vocals and guitar cabinets.

Shures ol' trusty
this microphone makes anyting you throw at it, if you have a good preamp / interface combo. it doesn't need to be expensive but just good.
So i use this mic as a speech / singing / instrument microphone and it just works.
i love the way it darkens your vocals to a rich deep voice. some may not like the "muddy" sound but it can be fixed with in your DAW.
now that i've worked with the mkc for several hundred hours i haven't had a problem with the mic.
i honestly think any professional / home studio should have this mic
because it is a work horse for any job and it will last you a lifetime.

Amazing mic, industry standard
Great dynamic mic for pretty much any studio purpose, maybe even live? Personally been using for recording speech and vocals, both cleans and distorted ones and works great on everything. A bit of recording in guitar amps too and works there great as well. Highly recommend for any studio engineer or singer!

Täydellinen studio mikrofoni.
Tätä parempaa mikkiä ei ole vastaan tullut, poimii eri tyylin laulut hyvin korkeasta falsetista raskaaseen raspi örinään. Hintansa väärti joka kotistudio miehelle tai naiselle!

A reliable classic
This is the vocal mic I seem to come back to time after time. It does require quite a bit of gain from the preamp, but it seems to work on all the singers pretty much equally. I've often picked the SM7B over U87's and other "holy grail" mics when working with powerful rock or metal vocals.

One of the best
I use this microphone for radio broadcasting, and as many know, it's kinda industry standard among Neumann BCM 104.
SM7B comes with extensive packaging: thread adapter, two windscreens and of course the mic itself.
In my experience, this mic has two flaws:
First of all, it needs a lot of gain. Make sure your studio has good preamp to give this mic the boost it needs and deserves.
Second, and possibly the most important one is the cable. If you have many amateurs using this microphone without professional supervision, make sure you turn the mic around in its cradle so the cable wont get bent behind the knob. This happens more often than I am even willing to admit.
Other than that, these mics are built like tanks. Great purchase.
