One temperamental little thing

The amazing midrange tweaking system of the pedal is completely overshadowed by its untameable boost and some other issues. There's a nasty hiss, especially in the dirty mode, that can be dampened but never eliminated in spite of buffers and isolated power. This, plus the difference in volume between the two channels makes it unusable live.
It's such a shame because the EQ is so good I almost considered keeping the pedal just for that, but I really can't justify the price.
Luke from Stone Deaf knows his stuff, I hope these issues will get addressed in a redesign at some point because he's onto something with the paracentric EQ.

La pédale sonne très bien mais elle a 3 défauts pour moi:
- elle n'aime pas être en bout de chaine et c'est dommage parce qu'on peut difficilement profiter du gain en volume qu'elle offre si on utilise d'autres drives.
- L'écart de volume entre les canaux clean et dirty est beaucoup trop important et finalement ça rend la fonctionnalité de changement de canal difficilement exploitable.
- Pourquoi ne pas avoir fait un potentiomètre supplémentaire pour le gain plutôt qu'un trimpot interne ? J'ai un peu cru au réglage "set and forget" vanté par la marque mais clairement au vu du point ci-dessus un des deux canaux est forcément inexploitable et c'est dommage...

En dehors de ça la pédale est une merveille. Mais elle n'a pas sa place sur un pedalboard comportant d'autres drives, ce qui dans mon cas est rédhibitoire.
