Good quality but not really "better" in a guitar tone circuit, just tighter tolerance-
TCSMD 19.10.2021
These are good quality caps. Of course, when used in a passive tone circuit inside a guitar they don't really offer anything special to the tone. The signal that passes through the cap goes to ground and you will never hear it.

So why pay more when you will never hear the part of the signal that passes through the cap? In a word: Tolerance. These caps have a tighter tolerance than cheaper caps which means you will actually know the value of the cap you stick inside your guitar. The VALUE of the tone cap DOES matter, even though the quality of the capacitor does NOT (whatever the online forums tell you...). With cheaper caps you can easily get a 22nF cap that actually has a higher value than a 47nF and vice versa. So rather then play the capacitor lottery I prefer to pay a little more and get these tighter tolerance caps.

Just be aware that the quality of the caps really doesn't matter at all in a passive tone circuit and words like "orange drop" is just marketing hype. As long as the value is identical there will be NO DIFFERENCE whatsoever in tone compared to the cheapest ceramic caps. Only the VALUE of the capacitor matters (when used in a guitar passive tone circuit) and these caps have tight enough tolerance to give you a pretty good idea of the actual value.

It's a TAD cap
SouledOut 18.08.2022
I'm not going to get into if you can hear the difference between a TAD cap and a cheap "noname" capacitor.
Compared to a random capacitor you get off the shelf this is much more expensive but if your already rewiring a guitar/bass might as well spring for this capacitor. To me the math is simple, if your paying x euro for a pickup, don't cheap out on wires, solder, pots and caps.
It's not like you need 20 caps, so getting 1 wont dent the budget.

Recommendation all the way!

Standard quality product not too expensive
Andrew822 23.01.2022
Does what it says and the quality is great. If that makes a difference to the tone who knows but us guitar players like these gimmicks I would not waste your money on fancy oil caps on a cheap guitar either so the Orange drop fill my needs just fine.
