Jostain syystä olen tykännyt käyttää eniten Taman kapuloita, mutta tällaiset liekkikapulat vasta sopisivatkin keikkalavalle!

Excellent sticks!

I played these a few years back and liked them a lot. Lately I use ProMark 747 and Shira Kashi Oak, but decided to try out the "old" Tama sticks. Still very good, I like them for their feel and sturdiness.

I'm a beginner: playing drums less than 3 years.
Tried before: Promark, VicFirth, Agner.
First of all: the sticks feel lighter and thinner compared with 5A's of above brands.
Second of all: the wood seems much harder, very dense. I can feel the vibrations returning, especially from the ride (this could be due to my poor drum technique).
Positive is: the sticks last longer compared with the above brands.
Also the tip is much bigger: I like this a lot.
The balance seems great.
Negative: although the wood is very dense, it seems the sticks are a bit light for a 5A. I'm playing Rock (coverbands) and the sticks seem a bit light for some of the heavier stuff we're playing.
Despite this: the best stick I've bought so far.

Pretty good stick for their price

Very comfortable and pretty strong stick, even the art seems not be scratched after a few gigs.
