Great help for children to play more naturally and relaxed

The bow buddy is very effective to get a more natural and loose grip on the bow. I use it for starters holding the bow too tight, which prevents them from playing properly. With the bow buddy it is very clear how to hold the bow, which makes them feel confident and play more relaxed.

Con: may cause the bow to wear out faster. The bow including the bow buddy does not fit in a regular violin case. This means that in practice you have to set it up and take it down every time the violin is transported.

Excellent product

As a violin teacher I find "the frog" very useful with especially smaller kids and children who have difficulties loosening up. As described it really does give them an instant bow hold and makes it so much faster to learn the correct hand position.

Mit dem Froschhalter in Form eines Frosches können schon kleine Kinder ab 3Jahren den Geigenbogen perfekt richtig halten und müssen nicht später wieder umlernen. Auch ideal für Amateure, die die Bogenhaltung noch perfektionieren wollen. Die Kinder lieben es, wenn sie mit Zeigefinger und Mittelfinger dem Frosch den Mund zuhalten, damit er nicht "quackt" und der Fisch für den kleinen Finger macht ihn von Anfang an "rund". Eine geniale Erfindung!
