A functional product but nothing spectacular.

I use the POD X bag to store and transport my POD HD, and not much else. I fills this duty pretty well, and suits the POD well. It has separate pockets for the whole pod itself, as well as the power source. It also has a small compartment for some extra products, like picks, small cables and other accessories. Everything fits nicely, with a little bit of slack.

The bag itself isn't that impressive in terms of protection. Soft fabric with a little bit of padding, it protects the POD from dirt and light external damage, but would do nothing to prevent damage from falling, getting stepped on etc. It seems very resistant to tearing and ripping at least, and keeps dust and heat off the POD.

Carrying that bag has it's pros and cons. The long shoulder strap is made from rough fabric and is quite uncomfortable, and while it does have a shoulder pad it is made from hard plastic that isn't ideal. The small handle at the side on the other hand is softer and functions really well, as long as you keep the zipper tight to prevent the POD from falling right off.

Pros - fits the POD very well and is an ideal form of storage and transport for it.

Cons - offers little protection, and can be uncomfortable to carry.

An excellent soft case for POD (HD, X3 similar sized models)

This is a really good soft case for the POD (HD, X3m similar sized models). It's snug, well padded, and easy to carry your gear with. The extra compartment holds the power supply, and all needed cables well, and the side pocket is good for setlists, and other printed material you might need. I use this for my POD at all gigs, even when flying, because I can fit my POD in this inside my carry on luggage. Highly recommended.

Excellent stuff

Before placing my order with Thomann, I had my local music store contact Line 6's European distributor about a case for my Pod X3 bean. They said that Line 6 stopped making them, as the Pod X3's are now more or less obsolete.
I was stuck and it was suggested to me to have one made, which, in all honesty, didn't seem worth the hassle.
So I found this on the Thomann website, and in all honesty was blown away by the price of Thomann's own soft case for the Pod beans (it's less than a third of what I was originally told for the official Line 6 case, which isn't available anymore).
The case itself is sturdy, fits the adapter (power cable), the USB cable, a guitar jack/jack cable, and my headphones. In other words, absolutely everything that I need (other than my guitar) to sit down anywhere and jam.
Very satisfied with this! Thanks guys!
