Snug Fit - never have to worry about storage and transportation again.

Perfect case for the Zoom LiveTrak L-8. Good sturdy construction, with plenty of foam padding to keep the mixer safe and secure - it is a snug fit and will never have to be taken out of the case once it's in (unless you're changing the batteries). Rubber feet on the underside also do a good job of keeping the case in situ.

There is a bit of space left at the back of the mixer so that you can access the SD card slot without having to take the mixer out of the case. You can also use this space for storing the likes of the power cable. That said, the space itself is small so you won't be able to fit much else, especially if you have to use an EU-UK plug adapter like myself, which just about fits.

The main area of improvement would be the quality of the butterfly latches. They are a little flimsy, but get the job done. I would have preferred if they were mounted 'upside down' so that it was easier to take the lid off the case, but that's a very minor gripe considering the overall high build quality.

In summery - sturdy construction, snug fit, will never have to worry about storage and transportation again.

Super stabiles Case für jeden Einsatz

Ich habe mir das Case für den mobile Einsät des Zoom LiveTrak L8 zugelegt.
Es erfüllt diese Aufgabe in jeder Hinsicht super. Es ist sehr stabil, passgenau und für den Einsatz sehr praktisch, da das Gerät drin verbleiben kann.
Hinter dem Fach für den Mixer ist Platz für einige Kabel und eine große Powerbank, die ich für viele Stunden Aufnahme dort lassen kann, da die Anschüsse und die SD-Karte zugänglich ist.
Ich verwende den Mixer aktuell hauptsächlich, um mehrspurige Aufnahmen von kleinen Ensembles und Chören zu machen, dafür habe ich immer für 2-3 Kameras entsprechende Klinkenkabel in dem Case, damit die direkt vom Mixer den Ton bekommen können (Macht die Synchronisation einfacher) und die passen damit noch ein paar Notfallbatterien super hinein
Ich gebe einen Stern Abzug, weil das Inlay des Cases auf dem Zoom kleine Kleberrückstände von den Schichten des angepassten Inlays hinterlässt und weil ich finde, dass es mit knapp 120€ (November 2020) doch recht teuer ist.
Dafür ist es aktuell zumindest bei Thomann (und wo ich vor dem Kauf noch so gesucht habe) das einzige verfügbare Case für diesen Mixer.
Ist also nur ein halber Stern abzug. Danke Thomann für das Case 😊

Guter Schutz für unterwegs

Das Schaumstoff-Innere des Case ist genau auf das LiveTrak L-8 zugeschnitten und passt wie angegossen. Hinter dem LiveTrak ist Raum, um das mitgelieferte USB-Kabel inkl. Netzstecker und das spezielle Kabel mit kleiner Klinke (für den Anschluss eines Smartphones) zu verstauen. Und dann ist dort immer noch Platz für eine Powerbank: Ich nutze eine mit 20.000 mAh, so dass ich immer genug Strom für auch für lange Aufnahmesituationen habe. - Das Einzige, was ich für verbesserungsfähig halte, sind die beiden Verschlüsse, die den Deckel auf der Basis halten. Der Mechanismus ist etwas hakelig, und er sieht auch so aus, als könnte er schnell verbiegen. Da gibt es Lösungen, die einen stabileren Eindruck machen.
