Good protection for the body of the French horn, high-quality leather, does not get wet, but slightly does not fit all tool companies, for example, Hans Hoyer, Yamaha / pad at the bottom is slightly wider, so after installing it a little fold sticks out a little the velcro is smooth, because the velcro itself will then bulge, and will interfere with the mechanics. Most likely, this happens in some firms of the horn.

Nice valve guard, but unfortunately I had to make some alterations in mine because I changed the leadpipe on my horn. Good quality though, but after a long time strands of the fabric beneath are starting to come out.

It's not valve guard but hand (pipe) guard. The quality is very good but it only fits around narrow piping. It does not fit at all my Hoyer G10, had to send it back.
