LP 846-SN Micro Snare

This Snare is well made, nicely finished and a perfect drum kit add on. It has a sharp militaristic attack, with crisp tones that are great for accents and even for practice work. I've used it on stage, in the studio, at home and even for teaching at school, it is tough and rugged but easy to transport as well.

It has an easy out of the box use and fits well in almost any musical genre, it will require an L rod or Tama style mount/tom mount and like most steel/chrome ware- you will need to watch sweaty fingerprints if you want it nice looking too!
Fairly weighty as it is metal ( but not enough to worry you carrying it about. It tunes up nicely and is really so handy for rudiment articulation or such like. It has a cutting crack which is nice alongside a regular snare setting but nice and sensitive too-just so versatile.

I highly recommend it and love the Thomann sound files for this product as they accurately deliver its' timbre so you can choose between the 6" or 8" versions of the product more easily. Has a nice Timbale like ' snare off' sound, so it's also like getting two drums for the price of one. Get one soon! I love it you probably will too.

It has stood the test of several gigs and performances and several drummer friends have asked about it in the last two days-so it makes a positive impression and adds to your own unique sound- at least in my opinion.

Hier die Wertung meines Sohnes: Diese Micro Snare ist eine tolle Möglichkeit um einen Effekt einzubringen, da sie einen knalligen Sound bietet. Kann man gut nach jedem Groove einbringen. Sie ist sehr klein, sodass man sie irgendwo bei jedem Set unterbringen kann. Dennoch habe ich das Fell gewechselt (neu ein Evans G2 coated 6'' Fell), da sich dieses schon beim Sound bemerkbar macht. Der Teppich ist zwar nicht wie bei einer normalen Snare, da er an das Fell gepresst wird, dennoch OK.
Insgesamt empfehlenswert.
