Starting from the cons, the most relevant problem I encountered is with the USB connection, the input of the TASCAM is rather mobile and in some dispositions this might cause the audio interface to disconnect (at a risk of ear damage). I think an L-shaped USB cable might help a lot. Secondarily, the TASCAM has some really great in-built reverbs, but it’s still a mystery why these are not straightforwardly recorded when activated - it seems like a re-routing, at a cost of an additional input, is necessary!
Main pro in my opinion is the quality of the preamps, I don’t feel the need of any additional hardware and, when feasible, turning the gain up always sound clear and musical. Nothing more to say!

I problemi arrivano quando si iniziano le basilari pratiche per qualsiasi musicista.
Il fatto sta che questa scheda non è un semplice aplificatore ma nasce per interagire con daw e software e quindi registrarci.
Purtroppo la scheda 102i rileva conflitti imbarazzanti con windows 10 anche dopo aver reinstallato tutti i drivers asio, mostrando instabilità e blocchi fino al crash del sistema.(6 crash in 4 ore).
Probabilmente il colpevole è windows ma resta il fatto che lo stesso software in dotazione fatica a riconoscere la scheda quando si lanciano le comuni app per chitarristi o tastieristi.
Con dispiacere sommo ho dovuto restituire il prodotto nonostante non presentasse difetti di fabbricazione semmai problemi di comunicazione con windows 10.
Magari saranno più fortunati i possessori di APPLE , resta il fatto che TASCAM perde una grande occasione per consacrarsi nel mito e proseguire lo storico percorso da professionista dell'audio.
