Acus One-8 Simon M2 Wood

It's good for the sound for different acoustic instruments and it really extends the natural tone of the instrument. The price is quite high and I cann't tell the bass nots works as much as I would like, but the good thing is that you can use this amp for two instruments or for the line and the mic in the same time (for one instrument). Feels as a good investment.

BUT it's quite heavy (hard to handle) and I already changed the back switch twice. It's not well-placed. Furthermore, the wooden cover is susceptible to damage.

Hi there from Australia this is not really a review about the amp even though the amp is very good it's more of a review about my experience with Thomann and the staff but what I can tell you about the amp is that it has a very nice sound but it was not suited for me so I have gone for the acus all-in-one wood I feel the Simon was a bit too professional for me

Hi there I am new to Thomann I did not know that you guys existed and also I didn't know how huge and big you guys are I'm in the process of buying a acus guitar amp it's a all in one wood and the funny thing about it is I have just sent back and acus Simon 8 because it did not really suit me so to cut a long story short I asked if I could return this and they said yes and what blows me away is that they were paying the return shipping and the people I spoke with was so helpful it was like they were from another world another planet so I said at least can I pay half and they agreed and I was happy with that so as I said before I've just placed an order and the item that I sent back with the money from that I will buy myself another acoustic amplifier and it's a hugt & kettner I do hope I spelt that last word so all I can say is thank you for the service and I look forward to buying some more things from you guys thumbs up from Australia thanks David

Mit etwas Zögern habe ich den acus one 8 simon m2 bestellt, da ich in einer Rezension gelesen hatte, dass die M2 Serie mit einem lauten Lüfter versehen wurde. Natürlich ist das bei einem Gig kein Problem, da es genügend Nebengeräusche gibt, aber wie sieht es zuhause im stillen Kämmerlein aus, wo man doch auch einmal an den Einstellungen tüfteln will?
Auf Zuraten eines Thomann Verkäufers habe ich mir den Verstärker bestellt. Ich könne ihn ja problemlos bei Nichtgefallen zurückschicken. Er besäße ihn auch und hätte keine Probleme.

Nun muss ich sagen, dass dieser Super Amp mit einem so leisen Lüfter versehen ist, dass ich erst kaum merkte, dass er überhaupt angeschaltet war. Ich kann mir nicht vorstellen, dass dieses leise Geräusch selbst einen überempfindlichen Freak stören kann. Man hört es wirklich kaum!
Und der Sound des Verstärkers: Der ist sagenhaft. Ich spiele verschiedene Akustikgitarren über ihn (Stahl- und Nylonsaiten) Sehr klar, dynamisch und voll. Ich hatte immer einen Supersound auf meinem Studiokopfhörer und konnte diesen mit keinem vorher probierten Amp oder einer PA nachbilden. Mit dem acus one 8 m2 klappt es!!!

Jetzt noch ein Wort zu Simon(zurückklappbareAufstellmöglichkeit). Ich empfinde es bei mir daheim oder im Proberaum als einen Soundgewinn, da man die Box umgeklappt direkter hören kann. Würde ich anders nicht wollen. Stelle ich die Box mal gerade auf den Boden, klappe ich sie schnell wieder um. Auf einem Ständer oder Stuhl mag das ja egal sein.
FAZIT: Ein außergewöhnlich toller Verstärker mit überragendem Sound. Klare Kaufempfehlung; der Verstärker ist jeden Cent wert!
