Super handy, and good sounding!

Yeah, that's it... For the price, you get a great sounding/handy mic, that works fret on string instruments(cello and violin), and horns(Pet, and sax), those are the one s I tried...Probably nice for some percussion too;)

Amazing sound , to me feels like a bit neutral/linear yet retaining the life of the instrument itself, doesn't have the same presence in sound as DPA 4099 though, none the less, very detailed response without sounding cold or harsh, i have used it on almost "everything" , from Sax, Clarinet, Trumpet, AC Guitar, Double Bass, Violin, Toms, Percussion instruments ... damn even used them on choirs !!!

The only thing that sometimes may give you trouble setting this mic on some instruments, its because of his mini clip-on,besides that i am very happy with it, would buy another asap!!!

great value & sound

I first used this on one of my headliner bands on the violinist. Already during soundcheck I was happy by the quality of the sound. For mounting I ended up using a modified Rode Violin clip instead of the included goose-neck & clip as this was preferred by the violinist. Consequently, I bought a second one to use on violins or cello, with equal great quality results.
I have not yet listened to it on a studio recording, but for live use I can highly recommend this mic.

Finally so happy to have it. Many times I used for my violin.
Now i dont have to borrow a mic. Its always with me.
