Fantastic sound

These speakers not only look great, they sound fantastic and don't become harsh as the volume increases. They are also proving to be quite resistant to feedback.

Meine Anforderungen waren:

- kompakt und leicht
- passives System
- beste Performance für den Preis
- auch ohne Subwoofer einsetzbar

Bisher hatte ich den Hersteller FBT nicht weiter beachtet, die HiMaxx 40 haben nun meine Erwartungen übertroffen.

Obwohl es sich "nur" um passive PA-Lautsprecher handelt, haben sie einen sehr ausgewogenen Frequenzgang und ein gleichmäßiges Abstrahlverhalten. Jede Art von Musik sowie Stimmen und Instrumente werden neutral wiedergegeben. Die verwendeten Chassis sind Spitzenklasse und stammen von B&C. Die Kunststoffgehäuse selbst sind stabil und resonanzarm ausgeführt - auch das hat mich positiv überrascht. Der Hochtöner löst sehr fein auf und erinnert eher an einen guten HiFi oder Studio-Lautsprecher, als an ein typisches PA-Horn. Auch ohne Subwoofer sind sie für kleinere Veranstaltungen uneigeschränkt geeignet und liefern für einen 12" Tieftöner erstaunlich tiefen Bass.

Fazit: Ein neutraler, angenehm klingender Lautsprecher, der ein ideales Verhältnis aus Preis, Größe und Performance bietet.
