Harley Benton Spaceship Power 50C

For a person, who is starting out in the world of pedalboards this is a perfect bundle. Especialy if you have a modest collection of up to 5 (or even 6 with a bit of ingenuity) normal size effects.

The bundle part is important, because when you add up the things you need to buy seperatly to get started it's easy to spend x2 or x1.5 of this product's price depending on your choices (not counting shipping costs from diffirent stores). Even then you have to take into account the size of the power supply and/or finding a way to modify the sepperatly bought pedalboard.

The things you get in the package cover all your needs. Regardless whether you have analog or digital effects with 9 or 18V power, reversed polarity in the power input etc. Also, you get things which normally you would not think about buying sepperatly, like for example a cable fixing set to keep things orderly underneath.

The built quality is solid. You could only use childlike immagination to find diffirences in quality of the aluminium frame compared to other brands. What is diffirent though are the ergonomics of the design with regards to the power supply unit. You can connect multiple effects with ease, and everything is tidy. It by far surpases other options availible on the market. Also, the number of availible connections is great - i can power up an active DI Box, or a headphone amp which aren't always needed outside of the pedalboard. The USB connectors for smartphones and tablets are a nice practical touch.

For me personally with regards to the ergonomics side of things, the iceing on the cake is the PC-like AC cable. I switched the original for a 5 meter one with ease. This makes stage usage much more convinient. The power socket can be by the amp, and all i have to do is get the guitar and AC cable to it. My guitar bandmate lacks that option, because his compact pedalboard is fited with a power supply with bricklike DC charger and a fixed cable lengh - he has to remember about an extra extension cord.

So what's the catch? What is the downside? The anwser is none! When i bought this pedalboard i had my doubts about two things:
1. Noise isolation of the power connections.
2. Thicknes of the gigbags padding.
After using it for nearly a month i can say with ease: There is no noise - the isolation is perfect. The gigbag is ok - if you don't throw it like a maniac all around it will suit your needs - i carried it about 10 times in the snow and rain and not even a single knob on a single effect moved and everything is fine.

Harley Benton Spaceship Power 50C is not only a steal, or an affordable option - it's the ultimate compact pedalboard!

I got this pedal board in order to simplify my setup by eliminating the need for a power supply hiding underneath my board, as well as to hopefully save a bit of weight in the process. I'm happy to say: mission accomplished!
I love that the hook and loop is already applied to the board, unlike my rockboard. I had to stick it on myself and it looked super wonky.
It's also great to have a good selection of cables with the power supply, as well as a good range of mA and V options to choose from.
One minor complaint is that the power cables included are clearly the same as the larger versions of this pedalboard, because most of them are way too long, which means that you end up with a lot of extra length that you need to cable manage somehow – quite annoying. In fact, only the shortest 3 9V cables are the right length, whereas this board easily fits about 5 boss-sized pedals. The included cable management doohikies help a bit, but they're also not great at sticking to the board... My solution will be to get 2-3 Harley Benton DC-18 Flat Cables (18cm) to replace the longer ones. I wish I didn't have to buy extra cables but worth the price to keep my OCD at bay :)

The Harley Benton Spaceship Power 50C pedalboard has been a great addition to my gear, especially for its size and integrated power supply. It fits about six average-sized pedals, which is pretty handy for my setup. Although it's compact, it doesn't feel cramped, and the built-in power supply means one less thing to worry about.

One small drawback is the power cable's length; it's a bit on the short side, which can be a hassle if you're not close to an outlet. Also, while it comes with a bunch of cables, figuring out which cable is for what can be a bit of a puzzle since there's no clear guide included.

Despite these minor issues, I've found the Spaceship Power 50C to be a solid choice. It's compact, efficient, and simplifies the pedal setup process, making it a great option for musicians looking to streamline their gear.
