Very stable, well made, but heavy and bulky

It's pretty obvious that there is going to be some trade-off between stability and bulk. In my opinion this stand is equal to the SaxRax baritone stand in terms of stability and build quality, but is significantly cheaper than the UK built version was - and presumably is likely to cheaper than the US built SaxRax will be when and if it is launched.

It is, of course, significantly heavier and bulkier and hence more awkward to carry about than a standard tripod stand - your choice!

Very stable,sturdy stand.Good quality.Sax sits very high and a bit awkward to handle but not a big problem-strength and stability are its main virtues.
