End of a journey !

When I ordered this microphone, I didn't know what I can expect from it. No Reviews on the internet, No Reviews at Thomann, I was pretty sceptical but I want to give it a try because i've seen some artists recording there guitars with this mic.
Once it arrived, I rerecorded one of my songs to compare the mic with my old ones and spent not much time to find the sweet spot in front of my cab ... just directly on the cone ... and go. I never got such an amazing tone "out of the box".
Of course the tone of a mic is a matter of personal taste BUT I can highly recommend this mic for Guitar recording and think that you will love the tone too ;) . I normally used the "old classics" in business like the Shure SM57, Sennheiser E906, MD421, and so on. (only that you can get a direction of my taste). I don't give it a try on vocals and other stuff yet but i think it will do a great job on it too.
I've found the guitar tone i was looking for :D My journey has ended with this piece of gear! Hope yours will end soon too !

Ich war zugegeben zunächst überhaupt nicht beeindruckt (und hatte eh sehr lang gehadert, überhaupt so viel Geld für so einen "Exoten" hinzulegen) und war dann auch kurz vorm zurückschicken.
Irgendwas, schwer zu beschreibendes, macht das Mikro aber dann doch speziell und sehr gut. Beim Gesang irgendwie die Klarheit eines Großmembrans und gleichzeitig das "Verzeihliche" eines dynamischen. Man hört nicht jeden Schmatzer (den man sonst rausschneiden müsste), kein "S" zischelt wirklich unangenehm, trotzdem klingt es sehr präsent, klar und warm.
Auch kurz mit Gitarre am Amp probiert, der Ton war superdirekt und fett und es schien gar nicht ganz so wichtig, wo mans denn genau hinpositioniert.
Design, Verarbeitung, Spinne, Koffer, top.
Bei meiner Stimme, die sehr tief und ziemlich leise ist, braucht man allerdings sehr viel Gain am Preamp (kurz vor dem Punkt, wo es selbst bei teureren unangenehm rauschig werden kann) für genug Signal. Ich denke, das Mikro ist aber auch eigentlich eher angedacht für Schreihälse und laute Dinge, bin dbzgl. gespannt auf weitere Aufnahmen.
Und: ich fand es sehr angenehm, dass man bei Singen nicht zwingend den üblichen Pop-Schutz braucht sondern der mitgelieferte Schaumstoff-Windschutz völlig ausreichend war. Fast schon ein komplett neues Sing-Gefühl.

Ein wirklich wunderbares Mikrofon

Hervorragende Unterdrückung von Hintergrundgeräuschen, erstaunlich detaillierter Klang mit großartigen tiefen und hohen Frequenzen. Viele On-Mic-Optionen für die Filterung. Ich benutze es für Sprache und könnte nicht zufriedener damit sein.

Polyvalent, idéal pour des pièces non traitées

Cela fait un mois que je l'utilise en complément de mon Rode NT1. Idéal pour ne pas avoir les bruits de fond, je l'utilise en contexte homestudio pour enregistrer la voix et ma guitare acoustique. Idéal en tant que micro de podcast, avec ses High pass et Low pass filters on peut avoir un super rendu déjà en entrée d'interface, un réel gain de temps.

Le matériel est vraiment bien packagé, la valise protège parfaitement le tout. Les fixations semblent de bonne qualité, à voir avec le temps.
