(edit) fine when you get used to it
// At first, I wrote a not so favorable review. I take it all back, now I use only these straps (with straplocks) for my guitars and basses.
Update after three months of use:
1. After a while, this is my favorite strap. I use it with a very heavy bass and with a very light guitar, and it makes everything better.
2. Leather tips are not so bad. Tips are okay when used with strap locks.
3. The fabric of the strap itself feels very good and comfortable.
4. I use both 74T000 and 74B000, like them both. but the padded one helps so much with heavy guitars.
5. I had to do some modifications to make it fit better:
- I folded some length of the strap on the front to form a pocket for picks and sewn it like this. The strap was originally too long for me.
- I stitched the other side of the strap to hold the pad in place. Otherwise it tended to slide from the shoulder towards my back.

I'm still using the same straps. They work so well.

Best strap for me
I have already the same strap on my other guitar and really liked the fact that it's wide enough and comfortable for long rehearsals and awesome for live shows when you need to run, jump and headbang

Nice strap. Thick and well padded. I wish it could get just a little shorter, but it's quite adjustable and suitable for most folks. It's hard to see in the pictures, but it's essentially a nylon tube with a pad inside, and you can move the pad to wherever you want it on the strap.

Great for my Ibanez bass
I bought this strap for an Ibanez SR300EB bass. It's long enough to hang around you belt area but not your knee area. I chose this strap because it's one inch wider (25mm.) than the average strap and since it's made of a plastic sinthetic material I knew it wouldn't be the most comfortable strap ever, compared to leather straps or cushion straps that I also use. This one has a rather thin cushion for the shoulder that helps relief the weight but it's not that soft, after 30 minutes of playing you forget that it's there. The fact of it being wider helps more than the cushion. Great product for the price

Planet Waves 74T000 Strap
The Planet Waves 74T000 is a great strap for Guitar and Bass. I mainly use it on bass because. it distributes the weight very well due to its broadness.
Because it isn't made of leather the fabric is way more breathable, so sweating is no issue.
After 2 years of permanent use it still looks as new.
The only complaint i have is that i cant get the paded part to rest on my shoulder. It is still way more comfortable than most straps i tried.

Perfect Comfort
Very hight quality strap and probably the most confortable I've ever used. It spreads the weight perfectly and it non-slip over the shoulder for a great playing experience.

Outstanding
I've been using an identical strap by Planet Waves for around 15 years now, it has been to rock'n'roll hell and back a few times and it's still going strong. I've never needed a replacement for any reason. This Daddario strap looks and has exactly the same features, and feels equally as good. No other guitar strap I've ever used felt so comfortable and secure, and I'm glad I've purchased it now for my other guitar. Easily the best guitar strap ever made.

very confortable to wear, feels a bit cheap, and at its shortest the plastic part gets in your shoulder, your instrument gets lighter for sure though,

This IS the strap for basses
I have one for almost 9 years now. I bought an other one for my other bass because that has a different strap-lock system.
It is perfect! It is wide enough, so you can use it with heavy basses/guitars. Most comfortable strap that I've ever owned. Just buy one and you'll have a nice strap for your whole life!

My favorite!
These straps are really comfortable. I probably wouldnt be able to use my Gibson Les Paul Classic Custom without it as it is really heavy on the shoulder. Higly recommend these.
