- With minimal attack and controlled higher frequencies, the Skyntone has a very warm sound, even in use with steel snares
- This makes them ideal for live gigs in concert halls, in which 'normal' metal snares are often too sharp or tinny sounding
- On the drum set, the Skyntones at higher tunings offer a warm and controlled sound with an excellent surface for use with brushes
