Thomann's drums are top notch even though they are almost 3 times cheaper than some of the top brands so do not be fooled by the price! And each drum comes with a pair of sticks - perfect for rudiments and marching drumming. I've played many different brands over the years and in my opinion the Thomann SD1412 is up there with the rest.

Worth noting that I never tried the drums with the original top skin, I changed it to a 14" Evans Marching Drum Skin Black

UNA AGRADABLE SORPRESA

Me he comprado este tambor prácticamente por intuición y me ha sorprendido muy gratamente. Sin tener el acabado de Premier, Pearl o Yamaha, tiene la peculiaridad de llevar un sistema de bordón superior consistente en 10 hilos metálicos rígidos, pudiendo sólo variar su altura y no su tensión. Le he puesto un parche Evans Hydraulic arriba y un Remo estándar abajo y estoy encantado con la sonoridad que tiene, ya que se encuentra entre los que sólo llevan bordón inferior y los que llevan bordón de caja de batería arriba y abajo. Además incluye un par de baquetas y el arnés para llevarlo. No se puede pedir más a este precio. Estoy muy satisfecho con la compra.

Als aller erste, und damit auch das aller wichtigste, unbedingt ein anderes Schlagfell dazu kaufen!!!
Ich hab das Remo Black Max dazu gekauft und es ist jeden Cent wert!

Die Snare an sich ist wirklich gut verarbeitet, hier und da hat mal eine Schraube ein bisschen gehakt aber nichts dramatisches. Als Anfänger sollte man am Anfang mal ein Tutorial dazu schauen wie man sie richtig einstellt (Teppich stimmen etc). Das Fell was stndardmäßig drauf gezogen ist, ist zwar nicht unbespielbar, aber sobald man ein wertigeres aufzieht gibt es einen wirklich AHA Moment. Mit dem Standard Fell war ich mir nicht sicher ob die Snare das Problem ist oder ich sie nicht richtig eingestellt bekomme. Sie hat auf jeden Fall nicht so richtig nach knackiger Marching Snare geklungen.
Aber sobald das Remo Fell drauf war, war es wie Tag und Nacht. 80¤ für ein Fell sind schon eine Ansage, aber jeder der diese Snare auch nur halbwegs ernsthaft spielen will sollte es investieren!
Absolute Empfehlung für diese Snare zu diesem Preis, das Bundle mit Remo Fell sollte von jedem in Anspruch genommen werden!

Gute Ausstattung!

Man bekommt definitiv eine gute Pipedrum für wenig Geld, an der Verarbeitung gibt's nicht viel zu meckern ..jedoch sollte man unbedingt das Schlagfell auf ein Remo Falam K oder ähnl. tauschen der Sound ist unvergleichbar besser. Das mitgelieferte Originalfell ist leider nicht Optimal.
