Great Case - Well worth the money!
This is definitely the best option out there in terms of a snug fit case for the SPD-SX. It is reliable and sturdy, and has been used many many times for gigs and transport. It has kept my SPD in pristine condition (apart from all the drumstick markings when I play the thing, oops!)
Only thing I would say is there are other good alternative cases to buy if you need something to house your SPD-SX stand as well. I can fit my SPD, my drumsticks and drumstick holder as well as the power adapter, but I have to carry the stand everywhere which is fine. I've seen some drummers use a larger soft case and put the stand in there as well.
Definitely WOULD recommend this to people, brilliant and well worth the cost!

Great protection
An excellent case - internally and externally. I have even flown with it and not had any problems - even though the latches are maybe not designed for that.
I'd recommend some gaffa tape over the latches before a flight just in case they get caught on something and open up - airlines are not the greatest at handling instruments!

Great product ;)
I bought a Roland SPD SX few months ago and I must say I am sorry that I did not buy this case there and than. This case is a custom made transport case for Roland spd sx and you can store your cables, triggers and accessories under the sampler so you can carry all your gear in one place which is quite handy. I recommend this to every working drummer.

This hard case is very firm. It's heavier than the spd-sx itself but you can fit quite a lot in the case. I got my triggers, spd-sx plug, jacks and my sticks to fit in there. I feel very comfortable traveling with the case. It would take a whole lot to break it and have any damage done to the content of the case.

Good guality and attractive price
Very sturdy, protects perfectly and holds my SPD-SX tightly in place. Under the pad there is an extra space for cables which is very roomy! I have 6 plug cables (3m each), Y-cord, power supply and a Boss FS-5U there. There is nothing I want to complain, highly recommend!

Essential purchase
I bought the full Roland SPD-SX bunndle with the flight case and millennium bracket and was glad I did. The case not only holds the SPD-SX securely but you don't have to take off the mounting bracket. Plus there's plenty of room for other stuff like the power supply, an extension cable and audio cables. The case itself is well made and although it's heavy in itself, this really doesn't matter when you know your investment is being protected.

The perfect case for the SPD-SX
If you're buying an SPD-SX (or if you already have one and are simply looking for a case) do NOT pass up on this one. Thon are the number one hard-case brand for a reason and it shows through here. The unit fits snugly into the case and there's even some space beneath for your cables. It's a one-stop-shop and in my opinion is essential to any SPD-SX owner.

Perfect!
It's custom made for spd-sx. Best part is that underneath you have room for cables, adapter. I also put foot-switch there.

It's a good standard rack case for the roland spd-sx. It would be great if there were the possibility to chose between brown and black finish though.

Great great value...
So you buy an expensive Roland SPD-SX and then gig with it and don't protect it? That simply doesn't make sense. These Thon cases are fantastic value and are extremly well made. I tour with mine and it's perfect for the job. The materials are very high quality and locks and handle very robust. The high density foam padding inside means the SPD-SX fits like a hand in a glove, and the space left under the unit allows you to leave the mounting bracket on and store cables and any additional triggers you might be using... Perfect and I don't know how they do it for the price. I bought mine as part of a bundelled offer.
