We`ll since you are reading this already i suggest you buy one to see for yourself because you want to know if it is going to make you sound like SRV, thats what I did and I`m glad. There are no words to describe the tone difference, there probably isnt much of a difference anyway but the quality of it is outstanding. I can`t afford to buy 10 of these but i have 2, 1 for the studio and 1 for the road, it never breaks and never ceases to amaze me how much kick it can withstand. Pricy but the quality is beyond, unlike fender cable that breaks after 2 months.
Very nice feel to it aswell.

Vovox Delux!

I was introduced to Vovox leads a number of years of go by a band mate whilst on tour, and I have never looked back! I still have the lead in question, no issues, no problems, 100's of gigs (and home studio use) and the lead is as good as new. I have been so impressed with the quality of the leads that I now use these at home exclusively.

Whatever my requirement, patch leads, XLR's or instrument leads I use Vovox. Their build and sound quality are second to none.

Differenzierter Sound, aber hoher Preis

Unfassbar! Habe mich direkt vor meinen Amp gesetzt und das Vovox mit meinem alten Kabeln verglichen. Man braucht nicht die Flöhe husten zu hören, um mitzubekommen, dass das Vovox einfach nur einen unfassbaren Sound bietet. Das Signal kommt klarer, reichhaltiger und dabei noch viel differenzierter zum Amp. Es erweitert das Klangspektrum regelrecht:
Die Höhen sind viel präsenter, ohne aber nervig zu wirken. Die oberen Mitten sind meiner Meinung nach auch viel klarer am Start und die Bässe bruzzeln gemütlich und erden den glasklaren Sound. Dies macht den Klang meiner Strat kraftvoller und gleichzeitig weniger überladen und somit viel natürlicher. Es wirkt als habe man einen störenden Filter aus- und den Nachbrenner eingeschaltet. Minimale Einstellungen an Tonepotis der Gitarre oder am Amp zeigen sofort hörbare Wirkung.
Das Anspruchsverhalten der Gitarre ist verbessert somit kann man mehr Dynamik in seine Spiel einbringen, was die eigenen Songs interessanter werden lässt.
Dreht man den Gain-Regler in Richtung Vollgas, wird man überrascht, dass der Sound viel transparenter als sonst bleibt und kein Matsch zustande kommt. Aber trotzdem geile Obertöne möglich sind.

Alle alten billigeren Kabel habe ich verschenkt!!!

Aber die Frage ist: rechtfertigt diese Soundverbesserung den Preis?
Meiner Ansicht nach JA, wenn man ein gutes Instrument und eine Vollröhre am Start hat. Will man einen undifferenzierten Schönmaler-Sound mit ?Klang?-fläche, wo man die Effekte sehr gut, aber kaum noch Gitarre hört, lohnt sich die Anschaffung kaum.

Über die Haltbarkeit kann ich noch nix aussagen. Bei der Bühnentauglichkeit hatte ich aufgrund der super Verarbeitung bis jetzt nix zu beanstanden.
