Sofern der Hersteller überhaupt genug Draht mitliefert (beim vorliegenden Exemplar war da kein Millimeter zu viel), lässt sich der Draht geradebiegen und neu fixieren, wobei aber Materialermüdung droht. Saitenhalter mit geschraubten Einhängesaiten sind da klar im Vorteil.
