High price low quality

I bought this to easily access metronome and drum notations from my smart phone (OnePlus 7) and been using it for over 1,5 years now. It does fulfill the task I bought it for. I am happy with the function it provides, but quality does not match the highly overpriced price tag.

The mount it self is easy to attach. I'd would argue it is the best of its qualities. I have it attached to a Hi-Hat stand where it is within a nice reach. However the clamp and goose neck are really difficult to adjust. The neck is very stiff and does not really support that many shapes. Clamp is a bit weak to hold your phone properly, especially if you want to have it in horizontal position. Also, if you want to adjust the angle you need a screwdriver.

Overall it does it's job well enough, but the price tag of 72€ is definitely too high for it's adjustability features. Would not recommend it to anyone who is seeking good adjustability.

These days phone accessories should be something affordable and practical. This Gibraltar mount is disappointing in every aspect. Way too expensive (because it's aimed for musicians), built very poorly and flimsy. The gooseneck won't stay up in place, and the part which holds the phone literally broke after a couple of weeks. Usually I'll get everything by Gibraltar, but this is a piece of cheap shit ::(
