Looks nice but bad materials

First impression was fairly favorable:
Surfaces look smooth, it looks professional, screws have decent cushioning pads, everything felt pretty nice and solid. Only downside really was that the adjustment mechanism for popfilter was pretty crude.

However, after awhile of using I accidentally bumped my hand to the pop filter while gesturing. It cleanly snapped off.
Now granted it was my mistake but there was not a lot of force in that motion. I'd argue dropping your phone on your face at the couch probably has more force behind it, not to mention motion from the boom arm absorbed some of it.. It seems like pretty solid plastic but it is actually very brittle :/
Anyhow not like you have much choice at this price point anyhow but something to keep in mind.

EDIT 12.2.2022: Managed to acquire replacement pop-filter... and snapped one of the prongs off putting it on. I don't even. I know this review must seem like I'm a troll but this is one of the most fragile plastic things I've ever held. Luckily this time only one came off and it can still hang with just one leg but... man what a poor experience. Ironic considering I haven't had a bad experience with the actual shockmount yet.

This is obviously a ripoff of rycote invision.
They added a second piece of suspension loop but if you cut them off the elasticity and isolation properties become almost identical.

Not a fan of the pop filter mounting as it doesn’t allow fully free positioning, but hey they can’t ripoff everything.

The screws that hold the mic feel slightly lesser î quality but a 1/3 of the price i can’t complain.
I see no reason to use any other style of shockmount at this point

Great for the money

Currently using with an Aston Stealth, all fits and secures well, not had any issues with the microphone slipping out.
Attaches to the stand smoothly and firm.
All the adjustment screws feel decent quality and not going to slip or just fail randomly.

Not using the pop shield that comes with, but nice that it's an option if I decide to use a side address microphone in future, seems solid enough.

Does the job it says it's going to do, not had any issues at all, could spend a lot more for worse.
