Awesome headless

This bass was bought because I have wanted a headless bass since the 80?s. The bass has an almost limitless sound palette, and is very versatile. Tones ranging from really clinical slap tones to deep reggae dub sounds. It is very light and very comfortable to wear on a strap and also very comfortable in a seated position with the leg rest folded out. It takes no time at all to get used to the headstock not being there and it stays in tune perfectly, because there are no tuners to knock when taking it out of the gig bag. The quality is excellent, and the frets are really well polished with no sharp edges or buzzing. Everything feels very sturdy and well put together. I would definitely recommend this to anyone just starting out or anyone wanting something very different to what is out there.

Amazing value

Fantastic 80s retro inspired bass, Ned's original design is up there with the Kubicki Ex-Factor or Status Graphite. The 2022 model plays well, is super light, has a good tone which is obviously different to a vintage bass, and makes a good travel bass.

Buen sonido y portabilidad

Buscaba un bajo que fuera ligero y facil de llevar, y este ha sido un buen hallazgo. La longitud total la de una guitarra (unos 98cm).

+ Buen sonido y ergonomia, el mastil es comodo.
+ Los materiales parecen buenos y no veo defectos de fabrica.
+ Esteticamente es bonito, se ve atipico.

- Sentado, echo en falta la parte de cuerpo de un bajo normal donde apoyo el brazo; es mas comodo de pie.
- Habia leido que debido a la construccion del instrumento, cabecea cuando lo usas con correa... Yo no tengo ese problema, quiza es por la correa que uso, una Gibson Slingshot; pero lo pongo como contra ya que es probable que este problema ocurra.
- Recomendable adquirir junto con el bajo, el accesorio Steinberger Guitars STADB04 Adapter, suma 20E al precio total; lo pongo como contra porque de otra manera deberas comprar cuerdas de doble bola.

En mi opinion, una buena compra.

PS; quiza quieras ver el modelo XT-2DB; tiene el accesorio para cambiar la afinacion a drop con un boton; aun asi, no hay variedad de colores y Thomann lo tiene "A peticion" por ahora.

guitare facile à jouer, j'ai réglé le manche, la hauteur des cordes, prise en main sans problème car le manche est fin, les frettes sont bien poncées. Envoie rapide, c'est du sérieux. Bon pour une prochaine commande.
