Definitely an upgrade from S10G2

I was definitely looking forward to this product as I've been struggling to properly set up my VXT 8's with my existing S10G2 sub for years. Happy to report that as soon as I plugged in the S10G4, everything has cleaned up greatly immediately (note that I already found the perfect position for the sub in the room with my previous sub and my room is acoustically treated).

Interestingly not only the low end feels more tight and in control but the room (4x4 meters) doesn't feel overpowered anymore, also the transients have greatly improved across the entire frequency spectrum, including mids and highs. Pretty sure there was something less than optimal with the crossover or the electronics in the S10G2 that just didn't feel right and made the sound "mushy" on the nearfields if there's such a word for it, regardless in which crossover position I used the G2. Thankfully now all is gone with the G4!

Listening tests done via S10G4, VXT 8's, Symphony Desktop and Tidal masters. Highly recommended to anyone. The only thing to look out for is that it's less tall but much wider than the previous sub so it will be in the way when moving with my chair. Also it comes with no grill.

Very nice subwoofer, i love the new design and all the functions such as low crossover frequencies and bypass footswitch which is not included unfortunately, but sounds great overall..i have a pair of old KRK VXT 6 and this sub is a great bass extension.

I have a home studio, I saw a video on YouTube about KRK subwoofer showing in NAMM, the person explaining the video conveyed the feeling that I had to test for myself, now I cannot imagine how I was living without it. It is so powerful, and I only use 10% of its power
