I'm not an expert in chemicals but it does the job pretty well.
The cleaning process on the strings is effective, returning them into a smooth state perfect for playing.
Regarding the protection I cannot say, I'm lazy and forget my guitars for many weeks in a row and when I pick them up again they are just as nice to play as I left them...so I suppose it works.

Meh, Fast Fret is better

I`ve been using Fast Fret for a really long time and thought let?s try something else.

Pros: nice smell, a bottle lasts for a long time
Cons: I don`t hear and feel any difference after using it.

I like how the fast fret restores some brightness, high end and life in strings and also makes them smoother and faster to play. This one doesn`t do it. Also you have to pour it onto a somekind of fabric which is annoying.
Anyway I still believe in it`s ability to clean strings, so after a long gig when strings need a bit more maintenance i first use the dAndrea and then Fast Fret, for that extra "polish".

d'Andea's products are really good, they remind me of Fender cleaner! What i really like about this string cleaner is that it proper cleans and doesnt leave dirt on your string. It also has a very clear describtion!
Afther using it for a while, your strings will get rusty, afther all, strings aren't for a lifetime :-)

Pros:
Well cleaning
Cheap
Worth the money

Cons:
dificult to use on stage
Makes your strings a bit rusty.

I would definitly recommend this!!

Good cleaner!

I use this a lot. Most of my guitars are not played often so I give the strings a good clean before storing them. Stops the corrosion and saves me a lot of money! My gig guitar strings get a clean after every gig. Makes them last a lot longer. Also feels better to play. Good stuff!
