It does just what it should, but the feel still lacks a bit. It can be a bit squeaky or keep noise because of the polyurethane cover.
Still a good choice for the price!

I think this is as good as the brand name version, the only issue with this one being that the zip toggle rattles about. On the brand name model, you can tuck the zip toggle underneath a seam, but I think I will have to remove it from this one.

I'm not sure what use a zip is anyway, you can wipe the outside clean, and the inside is just foam

Ordentlich, nicht perfekt

Vorweg: Nach einigen Jahren Herumexperimentieren mit Fußbank, Gitano, Ergoplay Tröster, Dynarette-Kissen und GuitarLift bin ich beim GuitarLift hängen geblieben. Und der wird auch meine Standardspielhilfe bleiben, einfache und schnelle Verstellung, bester Halt und beste Spielposition. Da kommen die anderen o.a. Hilfen nicht mit, auch nicht das Dynarette-Kissen, das mir auch nicht hoch genug war.
Allerdings halten die Saugnäpfe von GuitarLift (und Ergoplay und Gitane) nicht bei allen meiner Instrumenten. Ich könnte nun Folien aufkleben, möchte ich aber nicht unbedingt. Da kam dann ein Stützkissen für diese Instrumente als "Schnelllösung" wieder ins Spiel. Das Dynarette-Kissen war mir zu klein (daher habe ich es nach dem Test nicht gekauft), das Thomann lt. Katalog 1cm höher und günstiger. Insofern habe ich es nur als "Ausweichlösung" gekauft.
Da passt es gut, die Gitarren passen drauf, auch wenn die Haltung konstruktionsbedingt für mich nicht ganz so gut ist, wie beim GuitarLift. Die Ausführung scheint haltbar genug zu sein, es gibt keine unangenehmen Gerüche nach dem Auspacken.
Nicht schön ist, dass der Reißverschluss - anders als beim Dynarette-Kissen - nicht abgedeckt ist, sondern an der Oberseite des Kissens offen liegt. Dies ist hinsichtlich der Gefährdung der Zargen durch Kratzer sinnfrei, allerdings zeigt die Praxis, dass das Instrument ruhig auf der Zarge liegt und das Kratzerrisiko eher ein theoretisches sein dürfte.
Dies führt zum Punktabzug, sonst scheint das Kissen das zu machen, was bei diesem Konstruktionsprinzip möglich ist.

Je voulais essayer autre chose qu'un repose-pied pour jouer de la guitare assis, surtout avec des modèles "extreme" comme ma HB BS-20BK dont les angles très marqués peuvent faire mal à la cuisse avec le temps.

Le produit ne pèse pas lourd mais le rembourrage en mousse est assez dense pour bien amortir la guitare, la forme épouse bien et la bande en-dessous permet de s'assurer qu'il sera stable sur le genou. Pas de risque donc que ça glisse en cours d'exercice.

La fermeture éclair permet de retirer la mousse en cas de besoin, par exemple si vous voulez un coussin moins dense.

Évidemment c'est pas du grand cuir, sans aucun doute du synthétique, et le revêtement a tendance à grincer quand on installe la guitare ou qu'on bouge un peu, mais au moins ma BS-20 ne m'écrase plus la cuisse.

À noter: ce coussin relève la guitare de presque 15cm. Je fais 1m65 et quand je suis assis j'ai quasiment ma guitare sous le menton.
C'est très confortable et ça ne me gêne pas de la tenir aussi haut (je suis aussi violoniste) mais cela peut surprendre la première fois ou si on a l'habitude de la tenir sur une jambe et à la hauteur du ventre.
